Infertility refers to the problem of getting pregnant in a natural way. Infertility is common in our contemporary society and has various causes.

Treatment
Through more than 20 years of study, research and experience, osteopath Colette Peeters has developed specific treatment schedules and approaches to address infertility.
Depending on the cause of the fertility problems, internal osteopathic techniques can be an added value in a spontaneous pregnancy wish, IUI insemination, IVF, ICSI.
Is there a functional problem that can be a cause for infertility? Is there scar tissue as a result of, for example, endometriosis, chlamydia, or post-operative complaints?
Een goede bloedstroom door het kleine bekken is een van de belangrijkste bijdragers aan de gezondheid van de eierstokken, baarmoeder en vruchtbaarheid. Daarom zijn de bewegingsvrijheid en mobiliteit van de structuren zo belangrijk.
Een verminderde mobiliteit is vaak te wijten aan verklevingen (chlamydia of een andere SOA, endometriose, PID, littekenweefsel als gevolg van een operatie en meer).
Behandeling door alle structuren van het kleine bekken te mobiliseren, met behulp van interne innovatieve osteopathische technieken, kan een enorm verschil maken! Sinds 28 jaar behandelen we vruchtbaarheidsproblemen met veel succes.

Consequences of pathology and scar tissue
- Mechanical pick-up mechanism between fallopian tube and ovary is disturbed
- Uterus is immobile and has less blood flow which can make implantation difficult
- Associated pain complaints: pelvic pains, abdominal pains, pain during intercourse, painful menses, painful ovulation, tailbone complaints, ...
- Suspicion of other causes: referral to specialized centers for further investigation, multidisciplinary collaboration.
Osteopathic treatments cannot solve primary hormonal disorders with manual techniques. The osteopath is a mechanic who detects and treats loss of movement in your small pelvis with the aim of promoting fertility. Movement is life!
